CELLS & COMMITTEE'S
Student Grievance Redressal Cell
The University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023, govern the establishment of Patel Law College’s Student Grievance Redressal Cell (SGRC). The Cell is an essential forum for students to fairly and discreetly voice their personal, academic, and administrative issues.
In addition to creating a welcoming and encouraging campus environment, the SGRC seeks to guarantee openness, responsibility, and prompt handling of student complaints. It promotes candid communication between the university and its students, which increases inclusivity and trust within the student body.
In order to educate students about their rights, obligations, and the grievance submission process, the Cell also hosts orientations and awareness events.
Objectives of the Cell
- To provide a platform for students to express their academic, administrative, or personal grievances.
- To ensure fair, impartial, and timely redressal of student complaints.
- To maintain a harmonious and student-friendly environment on campus.
- To promote awareness about students’ rights and responsibilities.
- To encourage open communication and trust between students and the administration.
Activities
The Cell organized engaging sessions on Stress Management and Student Grievance Awareness, aimed at promoting emotional well-being and addressing student concerns effectively.
An interactive program titled “Mindscape Thrive” was also conducted, encouraging students to develop resilience, self-awareness, and a positive mindset for holistic growth.
