KSLU Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament 2023
Patel Law College participated in the KSLU Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament organized by Saraswathi Law College, Chitradurga, from 9th to 10th June 2023, competing against over 25 colleges. The team won their opening match against S.A. Manvi Law College after a thrilling tie-break, showcasing strong coordination and skill. In the second round, they faced Al-Ameen Law College and, despite a determined effort, lost 22–11. The tournament highlighted the team’s talent, resilience, and sportsmanship, leaving them motivated to improve for future competitions. Heartfelt thanks were extended to the management for their support and encouragement throughout the event.
KSLU Kabaddi Championship Report 2023–24
The Patel Law College Kabaddi team, comprising 10 players and one coach, participated in the KSLU Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament held at G.K. Law College, Hubballi, from 18th to 19th February 2024. The team performed commendably, defeating Kristu Jayanti College with a score of 41–18, where Ravi Kumar C was named Man of the Match. Despite a hard-fought loss against SDM Mangalore in the third round, the players displayed determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Department of Physical Education extends sincere gratitude to the management for their support and encouragement throughout the tournament.
KSLU Kabaddi Selection Trials Report 2024–25
The KSLU Men’s Kabaddi Selection Trials were held on 29th September 2025 at R.N. Shetty Indoor Stadium, Dharwad, organized by the Department of Physical Education, KSLU Hubballi. A total of 91 students from various affiliated law colleges participated. From Patel Law College, Mr. Hariraj (5th Year B.A. LL.B.) and Mr. Laxmikanth (1st Year LL.B.) represented the institution with dedication and sportsmanship. Hariraj cleared two rounds, reaching the Top 25. The event provided valuable exposure, discipline, and learning for participants. The Department appreciates the college management’s support in encouraging and facilitating active student participation.
KSLU Inter-Collegiate Shuttle Badminton Tournament 2024 – Report
The KSLU Inter-Collegiate Shuttle Badminton Tournament 2024 was organized by S.D.M. College of Law, Mangalore, on 6th and 7th May 2024 at Perfect Pass Indoor Stadium, Mangalore. The event was inaugurated by Mrs. S. Kanyakumari, international badminton player and RTP officer, Canara Bank, with other dignitaries gracing the occasion. Twenty-five men’s and fifteen women’s teams, including Patel Law College, participated. Our men’s team displayed great spirit and determination against JSS Hubli, winning one set and putting up a strong fight throughout. The team returned motivated to perform even better next year. Sincere gratitude to the management for their support.
Devanand Cup 2024 – Patel Law College Kabaddi Team Report
Patel Law College Kabaddi Team participated in the Devanand Cup 2024 organized by Christ University, Kengeri Campus, on 12th February 2024, competing against 20 reputed colleges. In the opening match against Christ University Bannerghatta Campus, Patel Law College displayed excellent coordination and skill, winning 37–27. The second match against Reva University was challenging, and despite strong efforts, the team lost 32–6. The tournament highlighted both the team’s strengths and areas for improvement, motivating them to train harder. The players showcased determination, sportsmanship, and skillful gameplay.
