Mrs.Gunjan Chandavat
B.Sc., LL.M., UGC-NET, (Ph.D.)
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Gunjan Chandavat is an Assistant Professor at Patel Law College, Bengaluru. With a strong academic background in law, she has qualified UGC-NET & K-SET and holds an LL.M. in Constitutional Law from the National Law University and Judicial Academy Assam (NLUJAA). She has also completed a B.Com, LL.B. (Hons.) from Tamil Nadu National Law University.
She specializes in teaching core legal subjects, including Contract Law, Family Law, and Constitutional Law. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she actively contributes to academic and extracurricular initiatives. She has been a part of organizing committee in international conferences, including the International Conference on Gender Justice, and has coordinated moot court competitions to enhance students’ practical legal skills.
She has professional experience working at the Jodhpur District Court and Rajasthan High Court, where she assisted in case brief drafting and legal research on criminal matters.

- “Alternative Dispute Resolution” – Co-author of research paper, Central Law College, Salem, September 2016 on Contemporary Legal Education in the Globalized World.
She was actively involved in research projects, including a Competition Commission of India (CCI) study on the Indian textile sector.
In recognition of her contributions to academia, she has attended faculty development programs (FDPs) and credit courses on Constitutional Law & Economics, Contract Drafting, and Public Policy Analysis. She has also undertaken specialized training on AI applications and research methodology.
As the Faculty Coordinator of the 5-year B.Com LL.B. program and the Moot Court Committee, she plays a significant role in academic administration. Her dedication to legal education, research, and student mentorship continues to contribute to the advancement of legal studies and practice.
