Red Cross

The Patel Law College Red Cross Unit is committed to advancing social service, humanitarian ideals, and community well-being. Students are actively encouraged to take part in community service projects such as disaster management, blood donation drives, first aid training, and health awareness campaigns by the Unit.

The Red Cross Unit teaches students empathy, leadership, and a sense of social responsibility through workshops, outreach initiatives, and volunteer opportunities. It provides a forum for students to make significant contributions to society while obtaining hands-on experience in relief and humanitarian endeavors.

The Unit guarantees successful community participation and awareness regarding health, hygiene, and humanitarian ideals by working with hospitals, non-governmental organizations, and municipal authorities. The college’s dedication to developing responsible, empathetic, socially conscious individuals who are prepared to serve the community is reflected in the Red Cross Unit.

Objectives of the Unit

  • To create awareness about health, hygiene, and first aid among students and the community.
  • To encourage participation in blood donation drives, disaster relief, and humanitarian service.
  • To instill a spirit of volunteerism, empathy, and social responsibility in students.
  • To collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations for community welfare programs.

Activities

The Red Cross Unit of the college organized a Blood Donation Program, encouraging students and faculty to contribute towards saving lives through voluntary blood donation.

The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation, promoting the values of compassion, social responsibility, and community service among the students.
